You Were Saved to Serve—Not to Sit (from one of my quiet times this week...)
One of the most overlooked truths in leadership and faith is this: “purpose always moves outward”.
Scripture says, “Now you belong to Him who was raised from death in order that we might be useful in the service of God” (Romans 7:4).
That means calling isn’t reserved for pastors, missionaries, or people with a title. Every believer is called to full-time service—right where they are. Our careers, skills, experiences, and even our pain are meant to benefit others.
When we use what God has placed in us to help someone else, we’re not just being productive—we’re being faithful. Leadership rooted in identity always expresses itself through service.
The world says, “It’s all about me.”
The gospel says, “It’s all about impact.”
When we move from belonging to Christ to serving others, purpose comes alive—and God is glorified.
Next Step:
This week, identify one specific way you can intentionally serve using your strengths—mentor someone, encourage a teammate, share insight, or step into a need you’ve been avoiding. Don’t wait for a role or permission. Start where you are.
If you want help turning your identity, faith, and leadership into purposeful impact, let’s have a conversation. That’s the work I’m committed to.
